"why did i say it?"

why did i say that to you?????
that sometimes i think of you
as more than a friend,
now how can i ever face you,
all i want to do now
is run and hide,
maybe if i just stay away
time will erase what i said,
your the best friend anyone could have,
with such a big heart,
i am lucky to be able
to call you, my friend,
now with the passage of time
this will all seen like
a bad joke,
and we'll sit and laugh,
but for now i feel like
such a sappy jerk forever
saying anything.....
