"Street Of Broken Dreams"


One day I took a walk
On a lonely street
Looking back on a life
So incomplete


Remembering the good times
Also the bad
Many were happy
Yet many were sad


As I walk this street
I see only the past
I thought forever
It would always last


Yet I wonder
Why it has to be
So much in life
Still to see


Hoping each day
To make things right
Knowing in my heart
It shall always be night



I've walked this street
So long it seems
Knowing it's the street
Of broken dreams.
