come from the open spring,
lay the daisies at her feet,
where little children meet,
their innocent eyes shining
in the sunlight,
time stands still as they
drink in every word,
she lingers with silent sweetness,
looking deep into their little souls,
for any sign of laughter and contentment,
dreamily they remain.....
the whispering of angel's wings
tenderly caressing their ears,
"Come", says a voice from the heavens,
urging the children to leave her,
yet without a thought they remain
by her soft feet,
listening to her velvety
voice filling the air.....
