Words of Life, Love and Praise
But A Memory...
As I sit watching the morning pass
I wonder what the day will bring,
a blue bird to sing me a tune
or an old friend may give me a ring.
I hear the trickle of the fountain flow
and it takes me to a place far away,
when you and I exchanged rings of gold
and vowed together to stay.
I can still smell the ocean spray
and recall the beauty of that setting sun,
as once again I declared to all
that you were my only one.
Oh my, the years have passed
and I love you even still,
I thank God for you every day
and I know I always will.
Thank you for being part of my life.
I wonder what the day will bring,
a blue bird to sing me a tune
or an old friend may give me a ring.
I hear the trickle of the fountain flow
and it takes me to a place far away,
when you and I exchanged rings of gold
and vowed together to stay.
I can still smell the ocean spray
and recall the beauty of that setting sun,
as once again I declared to all
that you were my only one.
Oh my, the years have passed
and I love you even still,
I thank God for you every day
and I know I always will.
Thank you for being part of my life.
