Words of Life, Love and Praise
You Did
You changed my life, made me new
no longer do I justify as before-
These eyes now clear of the haze
that has held this body from youth.
You made me right, enriching this life
pulling my soul from the depths of darkness
that kept me from the light of truth,
for I did not see reality, only mere lies.
You cleansed my soul, as a newly born
gone are torments and mistakes of a life past,
making way for a life right and new
clearing a path for memories sweet.
You touched my heart with a pure and perfect love
so unbelievable that joyful tears freely flow,
drenching this flesh to it's inner core.
No one in this place really knew me,
or the love this heart had to give.
Not one believed I could be as now I am...
But You did, You did.
