Trust and honesty -
More than just mere words to me,
Life's prized and treasured foundations
stand apart for all to see.
One generates the other
and earned it is indeed -
Neither come without sacrifice,
yet worth the work, you'll see.
You know my words are honest
I trust you'll understand,
This heart yours for the taking,
just simply take my hand.
Whispered words of love
Still ringing in my ear,
Require honesty spoken –
With promise naught to fear.
Regret is not an option
For I choose these things I do,
I knew from the beginning,
My heart I would offer you.
Now come to me, my iron prince
I trust you come honestly -
This one chance to drown in these lips,
and my love to set you free.
