Climb the highest mountain, punch the face of god
Burning Fortress
The fortress is burning,
Such smoldering fire
Is not a relief to my cold veins.
The walls around me,
My emotional state,
Has ignited and is falling down,
Crumbling away
With each degrading insult
Thrown carelessly to add
Fuel to this damned fire.
My wall,
My strength,
Oh jesus, it's burning to the ground.
Why I remain here
Among the charred
And ashy ruins?
I am nothing without my shell.
My fortress,
Is now but a dying flame,
I die along
With it.
