Words and Verse
Sunset
Nov. 2 2002
The orange sun glows o'er the ocean
Which shimmers in day's fading light
Upon it glide three boats in motion
As sun bids welcome to the night
The clouds above are orange yellow.
The color of the evening day.
A day which is so calm and mellow.
A day which soon shall fade away
And each tree murmers, gently moving
The sky grows gray, no longer bright
The sailboats are no longer roving
As sun bids to the day "Goodnight"
The orange sun glows o'er the ocean
Which shimmers in day's fading light
Upon it glide three boats in motion
As sun bids welcome to the night
The clouds above are orange yellow.
The color of the evening day.
A day which is so calm and mellow.
A day which soon shall fade away
And each tree murmers, gently moving
The sky grows gray, no longer bright
The sailboats are no longer roving
As sun bids to the day "Goodnight"
