Mother Earth…And God Above!Mother earth is very important, It affects the world in which we live! The grass, the flowers, the trees, The fruitfulness she'll give. When God made the world He added nature, And made it what it is today… But to keep it well, and keep it safe, We should offer our thanks, and pray. Pray for a better world, And ask God to give people peace, By easing their pain, giving them hope, And their loss in faith reverse – release! Faith is all important in life, For in death we meet our fate, If we have faith, we have everything, And we won't fear the pearly gate. Mother earth is also important too, For that helps us to be near God above, We nurture, care and help thrive, The nature around us, shower it with love! For in the garden we are nature itself, From dust to dust we return, But in the meanwhile, throughout our life, Very important lessons we learn. We learn about compassion and forgiveness, And thrive on the wonders of God above, We surround ourselves in a halo… Of sharing, of giving and of love! For to love others and be able to share, In this wondrous thing we call life, First we have to love ourselves… Hold no hatred, and lose all strife. For the key to happiness is forgiveness, Of understanding what life's all about! To love and be loved unconditionally, By eking all the negative out! Mother earth and God above, Are the ingredients of a wonderful world! Nature, faith and determination, The way to a better world to be unfurled! And just like nature grows all around, We should bask in the glow of Gods love, Seek out the truth - accept life as it is, And send prayers to Our Lord God above… Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
