The Wind In The Trees…With the wind in the trees, There is content all about, And when I am troubled… Or whenever I'm in doubt… I look up to the skies… The ones so blue, And always focus, On what I need to do! For Mother Nature is clever, She sees all we can't see, So she continues the seasons, Full of determination she'll be! And when I feel troubled, I glance all about, At the wonder of nature, And I lose any doubt. For how can I doubt life…? And all its glory…! When Mother Nature tells us, Such a wonderful story! She shows us the flowers… And she makes them flourish, Different seasons… And all different colours! In autumn we see… All the leaves curled and brown, The petals fall off flowers, And barren trees all around. In winter she sends us, Windy wet weather, Thunder and lightening… Hell bent for leather! Harsh hailstone showers… Come to pass, Scattered all over… The dormant grass Spring arrives… Bringing forth all the bud, Colour appearing, Just as it should! Ready for summer…! When we will all be astounded… At the budding flowers, As in new life we'll be surrounded! The birds will be chirping… As they sail through the sky, And we can bask in the wonder… That the summer is nigh! And the trees all flourish, Their leaves spurt forth again, Then it's onward to autumn… And cold weather once again! And as all four seasons… Once more come around… The wonder of nature… Can once more be found! Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem |
