 HOME OF THE FLOWING PEN

Battleground Me


A war is waged
Within my head
A demon brought out
Once again

But the steadfast heart
On loves true plight
Takes up the sword
To join this fight

A monster they say
Named insecurity
Has sought out to conquer
Claiming victory

But love is powerful
And vanquishes the foe
Ordering him out
Demanding he go

To let a mind
Be at last in peace
With a monster banished
To the land of memory
