A Letter To You Mom
A Letter to You Mom
I Can No Longer Stop by Your House
In the Middle of the Day
Nor...Can I Speak to You on the Phone
For It's in Heaven, That You Stay
I Thought If I Wrote You a Letter
You Might See It...from above
I Wanted to Write and Say These Things
Addressing Them to You with Love
I Want You to Know I Thank You
For All You Did for Me.......
Lessons You Taught on So Many Things
And Time ...That You Gave So Free
Yours Was the Shoulder I Cried on
You Were My Shelter in a Storm
Always There When I Needed You
It Was Your Hugs...That Kept Me Warm
You Were Always My Inspiration
I Wanted to Be like You
Such a Very Special Mother
Understanding, Loving and True
I So Appreciated All These Things
And I Miss You So...each Day
You Left Before I Had a Chance
To Say What I Wanted to Say
I Believe That You Will Read this
Down Through the Clouds...Here below
Knowing I Mean this with All My Heart
My Love for You Will Forever Grow
So...being That I Can't Visit
Or Look You in the Eye
My Hope Is to See You in Heaven
Until Then Mom...Goodbye!
