Sweet Summer Kiss
A gentle breeze stirs delicate leaves
through jasmine scented air.
Children play gleefully in a park of green
with a basket-full of kittens and balls of red twine.
Golden light filters down onto smiling faces
all enjoying this glorious, sunny day
as you and I walk hand-in-hand among the trees
taking a pause now and then for yet another sweet summer kiss.
