(Free Verse)
The years in life are slipping
You wonder where they're gone
Your hat you kept tipping
In life feeling you're a pawn.
That's what you're thinking
For every road you've turned
Holding on to what its shared
Through blessings you've come to know
Treasures that the heart defines
Sharing thoughts with so much pleasure
Beautiful things of many kind
Great things that today you treasure
The years in life are slipping
Spending time at your leisure
You wonder where they're gone
Feeling in life you've been only a pawn.
