NIGHT STAND ( Free Verse ) x
( Free Verse)
The drink tasted bitter inside her mouth
No more sweetness found its way there.
She didn't remember the misty hours,
Till she woke up, naked, in the wrong bed
Splitting headache, her whole body hurt,
spinning was her head, her legs barely moved.
In her mind confusing thoughts, she tried to divert
Painful memories coming back, she couldn't revert
Body hurting all over, heart and soul in dark hole,
Partying all night with the wrong crowd,
One too many drinks, last night served,
In the horizon she sees the clouds
That can't happened to her, aloud she shouted
In her mind, now the meaning of insanity she knows,
Now she's facing the music, she's fallen that low,
The party is over, no more whisky to flow.
