A sorrow that goes unseen
within the realm of why
The sound that escapes the mute
to shake the morning shy
The vision of the blind
that see what sight does not
And the presence of the genius
that lays in ignorance wrought
The morning dew arises
upon the rays of the sun
To coat the view in angels fog
a mystery to all but some
A gentle breeze does whisper
to sway the fog aside
Then kiss the morning with sunshine
so the night may again hide
We step upon the path of others
who pasted this way before
Yet no footsteps mare the sand
and there is rust upon each door
But once we find the path we seek
and oil the hinges right
All will operate smoothly
even in the long and frigid night
Then our path is brazen
lite so all may see
Colored in the lines of love
to trace our history
And as the pages print our tale
for all who come again
It may again become blank pages
if success we did not win
For the surf will rises to erase our path
so someone may come again
To blaze a trail of dreams
and avoid the destiny's trend
Then the pillar be planted
to rise above the shore
Immortalize in history
to be remembered for evermore.
