The Many Hats of Jesus

Hebrews 4:14-16

We have a great high priest up in Heaven,
Jesus, Son of God, best in our profession;
For no other high priest even comes near,
That was tempted as we but no sin to fear;
Time is now for us coming to His throne,
Receiving His grace and for Him to atone.
Christ has many names even as a prophet,
Preaching to all He met here that inhabit;
As a teacher he taught us gave us much,
As a physician healing power of a touch;
As a story teller as He told us a parable,
Always being calm and staying humble;
As a good shepherd He watches His flock,
Stands at the gate guarding as to block;
The Prince of Peace that He truly is,
Such wisdom being a knowledgeable whiz;
Most importantly He taught us to pray,
And exactly how our debt do we repay;
So now is the time we need to confess,
As long as we are sincere God will bless.
