Chatting with Your Father

Psalm 37:3-6

Trust in the Lord and do good as it be said,
For to dwell in the land and you will be fed;
Delight yourself in the Lord, never thwart,
He will give you the desires of the heart;
Commit to His way; put your trust in Him,
Filling up your righteousness to the brim.
Many only pray to God when we are sad,
As things go awry or situation turns bad;
We tend to forget when it is going great,
Not even concerned about our own fate;
This is our Heavenly Father we pray to,
He always wants to know how are you;
It is not only the toils and the distress,
He also wants to know of your success;
You prayed as you started to over exert,
Just too much to bear it started to hurt;
Be sure to thank him taking away pain,
And His healing power able to obtain;
Praise Him for all the good in your life,
Not just the times you cope with strife;
Building faith is trusting in the Lord,
Ensured righteousness is your reward.
