this poem is dedicated to the world's peacemakers - they know who they are -  somehow they seem to manage to sleep nights


man's made god in his image
to justify his deeds
so long as it's for god
he can take all that he needs
the bible says it's wrong to kill
but heck that's out of date
so long as it's for god
it's ok to kill and hate
as long as when it's over
he makes sure he's seen
dedicating it to god
on he world's big tv screens
no wonder
it's sometimes said
god
is dead
(or resting
or maybe jesting)????
