Walk Your Way


You are sweet, kind and gentle
Everything I've wanted and more.

I know you care for me
I see it in your eyes
But I can't abandon the memories
They haunt me from before.

I know in my head you
would never hurt me
But my heart is not so convinced.

I want to reach out to you
But the past and the present become so mixed
Then none of my feelings makes sense.

Just be patient and prove your gonna stay
Soon my heart will listen and begin to walk your way.
