M's Poetry
Release
It's gone never to come back
and it's over let the dust settle
it's been talked to it's grave
no longer something we cherish
but a thorn in each one's side
I try not to think about what went down
anger and tears begin to surface
it burns a hole in my very being
life is about moving on
walking through the pain
realizing mistakes will be made
release that guilt it will just happen again
get used to holding than letting go
or never having only wishing
sometimes the things we think we want the most
is the biggest mistake
only we are human and we must learn the hard way
release it will come back if it is meant to
don't stay expecting it to....
