NIGHT STAR OVER THE RAINBOW
I saw a shooting star today,
Traveling through the sky,
There was no time to tag along,
That star was way to shy.
One second it was passing,
The other it was gone,
I wonder what it would be like,
To sit and travel on.
Then morning broke it rained again,
A rainbow filled the sky,
I tried to catch that rainbow,
But it was way to high.
I stood and saw the colors,
All fabulous to see
And wondered if that rainbow,
Would one day be for me?
Then I had this feeling,
If I could catch that star,
Id fly over the rainbow,
That sits up there so far.
What a crazy vision,
Night stars they don't stop,
I chuckled with submission,
But never have forgot.
