Curing PrideProverbs 11:1-3 A false balance is abomination to the Lord, A just weight is His delight if not ignored; When pride comes then also comes shame, As in striving forward to fortune and fame; For the wisdom seems to take a back seat, Feeling alright any time they lie and cheat; The integrity of the righteous as a guide, To those allowing God be within to abide. Our pride stands between us and our God, That causes you deceit tries to defraud; Any possible warning turning you blind, Blocking righteous thoughts in your mind; Only thoughts of how it can benefit you, Caring less for any other point of view; Pride also can make you extremely vain, That causes you to become very disdain; Vanity is a self love hiding in your ego, Has built a wall for a Heavenly embargo; Let the integrity of God to enter within, For curing pride and humbleness begin.
