She Made A Difference In My World

I loved the wrong woman
  and I was in pain ever since,
I did everything
  for her to realize my intention;
I never loved a person
  the way I felt for her,
But sometimes too much affection
  was not really enough.

Then a friend came by,
  so caring and full of compassion,
A genuine comrade all throughout
  all by herself;
So supportive, very honest
  and always ready to lend a hand,
I am very fortunate
  to have such a special someone.

Many have touched the edges of my life,
They come and go, oh yes,
  but they barely leave an impression,
But my dearest online friend
  is a cherished gem,
  my precious treasure,
Who discernibly made a difference
  in my world.

"Dare tell your loved ones
  they do matter to you, "
Is one adage I once read back home;
So here now is the right chance
  to let her know how I feel,
"For I'm pretty sure,
 I shall not pass this way again."
