The Fruit of ManJeremiah 17:7-10 Blessed is the man that trusts in the Lord, Whose hope in the Lord is never ignored; He shall be as a tree planted by a stream, Rooting deep as branches grab a sunbeam; Unconcerned of heat as leaves turn green, No worries of a drought that be foreseen; A very fruitful crop still able to attain, So sweet and juicy for without the rain; The heart is deceitful above all things, Bearing sour fruit from its entire doings; The Lord searches the heart for to cure, When good is found behind a closed door; He lets the door open wide allowing it out, Sweetening all the fruit without a doubt; But if the heart has a door locked within, The key is closely guarded by their sin; But only that person can retrieve the key, With praying to God for his sins to flee; Only then will the Lord be able to release, For the cleansing and bring them peace.
