Born To Do This
I am not chosen,I am just aware
writing, telling these stories, it's life as it is
searching for meaning as I go on
it's my safe haven, my one true gift
I know deep down I was born to do this
it's okay if it rains or shines
the pen never drys
I never stop not until I die
my autobiography in little increments of time
and whether I am alone or madly in love
nothing is more freeing than knowing my feelings are never forgotten
anytime, anywhere I can reflect back to moment
through a simple writing
important memories or events I never want to forget
yeah writing will always be my true love
it will never let me down, be hurtful or rude
it's the always open road that reminds me of my childhood
writing is honest to a fault if you allow it to be
innocent depending on the topic
and lovely because it remains true and forever
people may try but they can't dismiss
I was born to do this....
