MOMMA PROMISED SHE'D BE HOME AFTER WORK, TO TAKE ME TO THE PARK
BUT...SHE DIDN'T...MOMMA LIED
THE GUY WHO LIVES WITH MOMMA NOW, PROMISED HE WON'T BEAT HER AROUND
BUT...HE DID...MOMMA DIED
THAT LADY WHO LIVES WITH MY DAD,PROMISED TO NOT HIT SIS IN THE HEAD
BUT...SHE DID...SISTERS DEAD
KIDS THINK NO ONE LOVES THEM, PROMISED NOT TO RUN AWAY
BUT...THEY LIED,,,TODAY THEY ARE LAID TO REST IN A GRAVE
PEOPLE DRINKING IN THE BAR,PROMISED NOT TO DRINK AND DRIVE THE CAR
BUT...THEY LIED...TODAY ALOT OF PEOPLE WILL LIVE NO MORE
PROMISES ARE YOUR SPOKEN WORD
BREAKING PROMISES CAUSES SUCH PAIN
ONLY BAD MEMORIES WILL REMAIN
SO TO SOMEONE A PROMISE YOU MAKE,KEEP YOUR WORD MAKE NO MISTAKES
IF YOU LIE, CHILDREN WILL CRY, PEOPLE COULD DIE
..SO TO YOU THIS PROMISE I MAKE...
IF YOU LIE, AND DON'T DO WHAT YOU PROMISE
YOU'LL ONLY SHOW THE WORLD ONE THING...
YOU CAN'T BE TRUSTED AND YOU ARE DISHONEST..IS THAT YOU?????
