The Sneeze It coughed its way
Around the world,
And sneezed its pain,
From door to door.
It floated in
And out of mind,
And touched the world,
From shore to shore.
The people had
To hide inside,
And wear a mask,
From street to street.
The sickness would
Not go away.
It walked its step,
From feet to feet.
The world stood still,
Afraid to play,
Afraid to sing,
From day to day!
Joy Weare.
