Memories in FellowshipPhilippians 1:3-6 I thank God for my memories of the past, Wishing had been longer for them to last; In every prayer making a request for joy, Even though every soldier must deploy; Fellowship in the Gospel while you serve, For the cause of freedom you preserve; Being confident and never being enticed, Doing your best till meeting Jesus Christ. Most of us do not think of the sacrifice, Continuing to live in our little paradise; Without any real worries or any cares, Forgetting who gave up their plowshares; Ones who trade it for a gun and a sword, To a foreign land until peace is restored; The concept may not be the best by far, Alas, we are dealing with a terror war; They take with them Christ in their heart, And other soldiers for fellowship to impart; We keep them in our prayers until that day, In fellowship after returning back this way.
