I Write This, with the Thought . . . That Many People Might Be Able to Relate
"I'm Reaching Out"
I'm Reaching out to You Lord
Your the Only One I Have
Who Completely Understands
These Times . . . That Are So Bad
You Know Every Nook and Cranny
Of My Mind, Body and Soul
You Know My Long and Shortcomings
And When I've Acted a Fool
I'm Reaching out to You Lord
For the Strength . . . I Have Lost
Unhappiness and Dis-harmony
Comes at So Dear a Cost
I'm Reaching out to You Lord
Please . . . Whisper in My Ear
Tell Me What to Say or Do
To Make My Pathway . . . Clear
I Feel That I Can't Carry
So Many Problems in My Heart
Plus the Burden of this Sad World
Please . . . Make Them Depart
I Know as Long as There Is Life
There Will Be Troubles . . . To Contend
I'm Reaching out to You Lord
Because, I Need You, My Friend!
