COTTON PILLOW CLOUDS
All adrift in time and space,
I look up to the sky,
Up high the cotton pillow clouds,
Slowly pass me bye.
The pictures in those fluffy clouds,
For all the world to see,
Keep changing rearranging,
As they travel fare from me.
I watch those cotton pillow clouds,
Each and every day,
For hours I will sit and stair,
Until they’ve gone away.
I think that when I’m older,
When my time is good and done,
My soul I’ll take up to those clouds,
To play and ride upon.
