My Final SobA poem from the novel "The Essence of Poetry II:Gerald's Sophomore Yet Grown Poetrybook" Written by: Gerald L. Ingraham ----------------------------- This is my final sob From hiding my sentiments; It is a weary job Without having independence; I have no one to tell; I need to understand, That in love is where I fell, And I want to be a strong man. Weep no more... This is my final cry From the feelings that decrees; I really need to sigh As tension lessens in degrees; I've been restrained For such a long period of time, And I channeling love gained, Because it's for being a mime. No need to exult anymore... This is my final outburst From the fear of being loved; I've partaken to the worst, And I now have what I dream of; A woman who love me for me, She makes me feel so alive; Made me feel sexy if I was ugly; She healed me by love to revive. She is what I'd hoped for... This is my weep of sorrow, Only tears of joy may fall now; As I look in her eyes for tomorrow, I no longer have to cry somehow; Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
