A gathering place for trekkers
Craig top as pinnacle
Astride the ridge
The Library and the Bandstand.
Licking over a genteel coffee
Sitting on the chair
Of the wooden balcony
Of our gorgeous cottage
A chestnut tree in the front
A golden Labrador flops
With a wistful sigh
In her soft brown eyes
Looking at honey biscuits.
Perched atop a ridge
Quaint and sleepy villages
Exploring folded belt and frontal areas
In the mountain ranges of the Himalaya
Surrounded by clouds and perrineal mist
Remote hamlets magical temple tranquil lakes
Cold shaded forest downhill to the flowing rapids
Lie back on the soft grass
No cloths to hang on
Cooled by the rushing water
Of unknown wild stream
Sweeping me to a dream world.
All these scattered images
Of vacation in Musoorie hills
Restored in my memory bank
For days months years to come.
