When the wind
Rushed through
My hair,
And twirled it
Tangle tight,
I watched
The children
Spin and float,
And swirl
In sweet delight.
I let it blow me
Out of shape,
And brush me
Fiercely clear.
It crisped
My cheek,
My nose,
My neck,
And tickled
Down my ear.
It pranced
The leaves
Into the air,
And flapped
The branches round.
And then
So suddenly
It went,
Without a
Single sound.
