While I was visiting my daughter, she gave me a "special chore",
identifying and placing family pictures in albums.
In searching through pictures and papers, I ran across a poem I had
written for my grand baby, before she was born. I read it at Tracy's
Baby Shower...............
And thought that I would like to share it with you........
Since When Your Mommy was small......
I held your Mommy on my knee
And wondered how "OLD" I would be
The day she introduced you to me,
My Beloved Grand baby.
I mused about your little grin,
Your eyes, your hair, your cheeks, your chin.
To love you MORE would be a sin~~~~
No Greater Love Could Ever Be !!!!!
I wondered how tall you would grow,
And all the people you would know,
And what talents you would bestow
For all the world to see.
This world is yours, You Can Achieve
Whatever your goals, if YOU Believe
In yourself, and don't ever leave
Your Faith in God aside.
Your limits are only set by YOU
I know there is nothing You can't do,
And my love will be there to carry you through
Whatever path you choose.
My Wish for You is a life of JOY
My Beautiful girl or My Darling Boy,
This Granna's Dreams ALL CAME TRUE
The day your Mom introduced me to you.
