GARDENS PEICE
My gardens looking nice tonight,
The sun's been out to make it right,
These flowers stretch out to the sky,
They need some water or they'll die.
The birds are singing in the trees,
Could they be singing there for me?
The honeybees are buzzing round,
They gather nectar that they've found.
Here tomorrow I will site,
Enjoying every piece of it,
Watching all that I survey,
Squirrels playing through the day.
As night falls I'll reminisce,
And thank God for the grace it gives,
The piece of mind that I can find,
In this garden here so fine.
