EMPTY HEART
How can it be this feeling inside,
So cold so nothing in disguise,
To love to give my all to share,
But still alone the heart is bare.
Fears are real as days go bye,
I have the tiers but cannot cry,
A hole exists so deep within,
I try so hard to fill it in.
Past love hurt it's so, so bad,
My love is real but heart is sad,
Pain once bore from time gone past,
Should be healed not have last.
Could it be a wall was built?
To stop the pain and freeze the guilt,
Life goes on with love that's strong,
But still inside there's some thing wrong.
Maybe if the wall was smashed,
The hole would fill to leave no cracks,
Then all the pain that here from past,
Would dissipate this empty heart.
But deep inside the reasons why,
Are hid away so hard to find,
My life in limbo love adrift,
I'm left with hardened heart that's stiff.
