I Was Sad
I was sad, but now I'm glad,
That you went on your way,
I was sad, for all the happy times,
And glad, for all the grey.
The grey days, make me happy now,
For they were made by you,
And now you're gone, I realise,
The grey has turned to blue.
The sun is shining brightly,
There's hope within my heart,
I have a rainbow in my life,
I'm standing at the start.
I'll walk the road before me,
Forget the times we had,
It hurt the day you went away,
