 The Unfairness Of Angels

Dream_Girl

My radio played the same old tune
When I noticed the flickering of moon
The moon was a crimson red
When exhaustion carried me to my bed
And I dreamt of a woman
Whose name was Tina
She was beautiful you should have seen her
But only in my dreams do we ever kiss
And within her embrace all I feel is bliss
Like a Barbie doll, she is unique
Although I have never heard her speak
From images, and letters I know she's divine
In this dream world, she is all mine
Sometimes when I sleep at night
And my mind plays tricks in the candlelight
I see her face, and taste her lips
As I enter my dream world relationships
Within her eyes holds much sorrow
But I never get to ask her why, as I always wake up tomorrow

This is a poem for a friend of mine called Tina whose life has been full of hurdles and pitfalls, but she still remains so sweet and sincere, and for that you are a dream girl X
