A Trust in God
Psalm 25:1-5
I lift up my soul to God as I put my trust,
For I am not ashamed as He rids my lust;
God will not let my enemies claim victory,
Or to His Word never to be contradictory;
Let no one ever be ashamed of His Laws,
Only those who break without any cause;
As God shows His way and teaches me,
For He is my salvation for being sin free.
My trust is in God since I am committed,
Ever since that very day He had acquitted;
Removing temptations of all earthly things,
Replacing with the salvation that it brings;
Feeling the peace and joy my heart within,
Keeping me free and clear from all the sin;
I will never be beaten by any of my foes,
Since I become stronger as my faith grows;
His Word abides within me never to leave,
Being obedient because I firmly do believe;
A full trust in God that I not am ashamed,
Truly a reason why He will be proclaimed.
