Nature's Embrace
Feathery white clouds spread across the sky
floating like mist on the water, anticipating mornings debut.
The glistening sun beams across the horizon,
lending her golden gilded beauty to their delicate forms,
making them almost translucent with her glory.
Even the trees delight in her warmth,
reaching out to her in silence...
The birds join in a morning rhapsody coaxing her even higher.
A delightful breeze caresses the air
inviting the trees to dance across the sky.
Tiny flowers awaken to join in the dance,
turning their delicate faces up to greet the morning sun.
The hills stand sentinel to nature's sweet embrace,
and the valleys take delight in the joyous reunion.
Morning brings such freshness and beauty to the landscape
and sun lights our way until her time for slumber...
then descends from the heavens to give way for night,
that it too, may delight in nature's sweet embrace.
