Glorifying Christ as a DiscipleJohn 13:31-35 The Son of man glorified as in Him is God, So He has glorified Him as being unflawed; Yet a little while Christ was on this earth, Even today seek Him for all of His worth; Whither He has gone, we are unable to go, Unless our faith is able to intensely show; That we love one another as He loved us, And a feeling that comes inside so joyous; So all will know you as Disciples of Christ, Who loved so much willing to be sacrificed. We all fall short to the glory of our Lord, Because of human nature warnings ignored; For the straight and narrow path to tread, Having a tendency desire to stray instead; Our faith reminds us to get back on track, Asking forgiveness for resistance we lack; As we build a relationship in Christ more, Turning our faith into wings able to soar; For being Disciples in Christ is to glorify, In proclaiming the Gospel as you testify.
