She is gone you feel the grief, but not the blessed glory,
maybe you'll feel differently, as i share this little story.
In my garden where i sit, I watched a rose for days,
I took my rose for granted, but a rose it never stays.
One day I reached out to touch,the beauty of the rose,
my hands they wouldn't move it felt like they had froze.
Once more later on, I tried my rose to pick,
a painful thorn was all I got, but still it didn't click.
Afew days later I went out, a wilted rose to see,
then a tiny rush of wind, took all the petals but three.
Amongest those wilted petals, I sat upon the ground,
then a softer wind came by, and I heard a gentle sound.
Do not take for granted, a rose, a loved one,or thee,
for you there just a loan, for I call them back you see.
I moved from sitting to my knees, bowed my head to pray,
Father You left three petals, then I heard Him say.
The first for love and guidance, shown throughout your life,
the pain, the toils, the struggles, and all the endless strife.
The second for honesty and wisdom, gained over the years,
to give you self control, and conquer countless fears.
The third most important, are memories left to you,
joys, sorrow, and laughter, are just to name a few.
The pain will lessen with memories, that you can now recall,
accept the things that has to be, its written there for all.
