A Wedding Prayer
Violet's Vivacious Creations
Will you be my knight in armor, on a horse purest white,
will you carry me off and love me, on this moonlit winters night?
Will you be my damsel in distress, with your arms open wide,
will you put your faith in me, and keep me strong inside?
Will you be my steadfast anchor, when lifes problems seem too much,
will you calm the raging waters, with your gentle soothing touch?
Will you be my splendid rainbow, my sweet beginning with no end,
will you always hear my heart speak, with every message that I send?
Will you be my guiding light, when dark sorrow does appear,
will you comfort and protect me, and always keep me near?
Will you be my fragrant rose, an give my life a sense of duty,
will you let me bare the thorns, and praise your grace and beauty?
Will you be my lifelong quest,my so wanted destiny,
will you take me by the hand through out all eternity?
Will you be my sweet reward, as we seek our destination,
will you always be my driving force, my compelling inspiration?
Will you let me be your wife, for your every beat of my heart,
every precious moment, will be a memory that we start?
Will you let me be your husband, for your every breath that I take,
every hope and every dream, is in the promises we make?
We will stand before God, all our family and friends,
humbly exchanging our vows, as our future begins.
We will put our faith in God, His knowledge knows no end,
He'll lead us down the right path, praise His name Amen.
