From deep within my heart and true-
I so appreciate your sweet conversation,
But you're supposed to be my friend-
Just because my heart shut me down
Does not give you a private road in-
I take my heart very seriously
But it's no longer mine to give,
I relinquished it some time ago
When I fell in love with him-
Please, I don't want to hurt you
But you really must understand,
I am not the one meant for you,
Therefore, I cannot take your hand.

But you must understand mine too,

I am not in love with you.
