Through the Portal
Through the portal of life,
came the people, who's
influence has been
without strife.
Teachers all,
giving us direction,
love, tolerance
and the courage
to stand tall.
Most are gone now,
but their insight
taught us how.
Life is like a beautiful
rose, who's peddles
someday must fall.
But through that portal,
others will continue life's
beck and call.
