I was playing in the park, with children that I've known,
It was getting late, I knew I had to hurry home.
But then I made a grave mistake, I took up with a stranger,
He talked so sweet I didn't hear, His voice so filled with danger.
Now I'm just a lost Lamb, one more missing child,
my pictures on a milkbox, reports have all been filed.
The TV and the newspapers, are doing all they can,
they've put out a grim description, of this dangerous man.
My Parents they won't give up, if it takes a hundred years,
they'll follow every lead, and cry a million tears.
I don't know what will happen,I'm so very much afraid,
don't ever trust a stranger, I had my trust betrayed.
Parents love your children, an give then strong advice,
keep them safe and warm, so no one pays the price.
Home is where the heart is, and where our kids should be,
there has to be some trust, but with caution don't you see.
Never take for granted, what God has given you,
for you could see your childs face, on a milkbox to.
It could happen to any child, any where at any time,
we have to keep alert, and end this awful crime.
My heart cries for those Parents, the children that are gone,
and I hope and pray one day, those children do come home.
Hold them in your memories, they can help you cope,
always trust in God, and never give up hope.
