How I longed to stay with you,
but God had other plans,
I closed my eyes walked to the light,
reached out and took His hand.
Oh Mommy it was a miracle,
for all my pain is gone,
rejoice for me remember me,
don't sit and cry alone.
I wish that you could see me now,
with my little Angel wings,
an hear the golden harps of Angels,
oh what joy it brings.
I leap from cloud to cloud,
run along a pearly street,
and listen to wonderous stories,
sitting close at Jesus feet.
I know your heart is weary,
its been a battle fought so long,
but close your eyes and see me now,
in a Halo standing strong.
Remember me in the moon lite,
or when the sunshine warms your face,
and always know in your heart,
I'm in a better place.
Please don't say goodbye now,
for our partings not forever,
I'll be watching over you,
untill again we are together.
My suffering now is over,
please let yours be over to,
and Mommy always know,
just how much I love you.
