Could you paint me a rainbow,
to color my pain,
to ease all the misery,
that drives me insane.
Could you paint me a sunset,
to dim my eyes,
to shade the secrets,
and shadow countless lies.
Could you paint me a vessel,
to hide me away,
to cover the blame,
and disguise all the shame.
Could you paint me a new day,
to defuse the gray,
to brighten the blue,
and begin life aknew.
