Dear Mr NTL Man…Rob!Dear Mr NTL Man – Rob! I needed help once again, Cos me email wouldn't send, And it caused me such deep pain! Cos I'm gona be a poet! A posh one, don't ya know! Me name will be up there in big lights! Well, maybe just a little glow! But I couldn't send me manuscript, Cor blimey what a panic! I was in a spin, in a sweat, And I was feeling rather manic! Then I had a little thought, About this oh, so special man, Who told me he's my personal PR Who said he'd help me when he can! Well Rob – I have to tell it true, You helped me out before, When I was in a flurry one time, And I really gave you what for! Cos me NTL was glitching! It wouldn't work at all… So I found your email address, And gave you a frantic ‘call!' ‘Oh Dear Mr NTL Man!' I wrote to you in mail, ‘Me NTL aint working!' I said I was feeling rather pale! Then just like that, there you were, No worry aint no sweat, You said ask you for help any time, And help is what I'll get! Well I had a major - major crisis! My life was on the line, Well oh cor blimey and sugar plumbs! I wasn't feeling fine! I was on a deadline you see, Or they wouldn't publish me book! I had no clue, what to do! Me poor little heart – oh how it shook! So I panicked, as one does, When things just fall apart, So there I was, all sobbing, Cos NTL had broken me heart! But my main man to the rescue! Rob, me personal Mr NTL Man! Who sent a mail, to ease my strife! And said he'd do all that he can! So Rob was on the case, he was! Cos he told me true one day, He said; ‘Cath, kid, don't you worry!' ‘Cos my help will always be on the way!' Book number one is on its way to press! (Thank goodness for that breathes she)! Cos I would have cried me eyes out, If they couldn't have published me! But Rob, guess what? Go on, guess!! They've signed me up for 7 years!!! One day there'll be a poem about you, So I thought I'd allay your fears! And tell you that you'll be in one day, Probably book number two… And there you'll be, in black and white! A special poem from me to you! So then Rob, what do you think? Would you wana be in a book one day? Well, you just keep watching this space! Cos I'm gona make your day! So Dear Mr NTL Man - Rob, A little poem especially for you! To say a great big thank you! For everything that you do! ….The Epilogue… The book's now being published, And this I tell you true! It doesn't matter who did it! But that email sure got through! So Dear Mr NTL Man - Rob Me very own special mate… Please fix the faults on the cables! Cos I always get in a state! P.S. So then, errrrm, a question Rob! When will I get that old poem from you? Cos I have to say, it's a year late! And that really will not do!
